Waterproof seat repair

Anybody got any tips on how to make a 2in seat tear waterproof?

Try seat repair glue from a car-spares shop. I think it's called 'Vinyl-bond' or similar, you may want to back it with a small piece of gaffer tape on the inside.

Think it's vinyl-weld. Hard to get the edges to stick together on a tear though.

if you don't care about cosmetics then a bit of Duck tape can't be beaten for this kind of repair.

If you ARE bothered then all I can suggest is that you get the whole seat re-covered or get a new seat (a good excuse to splash out on a new gel saddle or a posh one perhaps?) ;)
