Picked up the bike today from Pro-Twins at mid-day paid the bill (gulp) £654.64 rode it to Fins at Redhill for M.O.T. Passed no problem (Pro Twins had booked it in for me).
What a difference, Clutch-Smooth as silk, Starting-can't even hear the starter motor, Engine/tickover/responce-Impressive.
So what did I get for my hard earned cash?
A six thousand mile service with cam belts/ gaskets/ shims/fluids/grease/bulbs/plugs/A pair of Metzler Sportec Tyres(fitted and balanced).
I have done 5,500 miles on the bike since I aquired it and this works out at about 12p per mile (excluding petrol/insurance/road tax) and I have new tyres which I hope will last till the next time it will need a major service.
And they say Ducatis are expensivie to run?
I have had over a years riding, Great day's out(with the grin factor included at no extra cost) For very little money.
