I have a 98 dark and I've just bought a bloody lovely carbon cowl from an S4. Now I thought that they'dbe the same, but the cowl reaches over the grab handles and there don't seem to be anywhere to fasten the cowl to. Does anyone have any ideas? Are there some addittional braces of some kind needed?

I can't remeber for the life of me what was on the 02 bike, but then I never took the cowl off.

sorry i dont but ducati coventry should find it on the microfiche easy enough, just got some axle nuts a switch and rubber boot from there, quick n cheap. dont forget youll need the bolt to attach it to cowl and the two bolts for the saddle, these ones have a knurled edge and are as broad as 50p so you can get your digits round em.

Aye, I remember the big knurled things - thanks for that, I'll give em a ring.

Have a look under the seat you should notice two screw holes on either side where the cowl thumb-screws hold it in place.

I've got two thumb-screws from my cowl which blew off when I tied the cowl on with string cos I couldn't find the bloody screws !

PM me your address and I'll post them to you.
