Hi, can anyone shed a light, Ive noticed that the rear suspension hoop has adjusting Nuts, (or they could just be bolts that look like adjusters) Dose anyone know if you can adjust the rear ride hight with these or are they just for show? Any one know??? or is it just for show???

I believe the Oracle states that 2.5 turns from fully in does the job of quickening the steering enough without ruining stability.

And no filthy comment about wheelbarrows please...

ere we go then. swing arm is attached to loop is attached via arm to shock. where said loop meets swing arm is a locknut, below that is the rose joint. the important bit. Secure back of bike via stand, ropes or burly youth. undo the allen bolts on either side of swingarm that connect through rose joints. undo locknut, wind roses fully in then bring them out again 2 n a arf turns, relock nuts either side then replace bolts to swingarm. ta daahhh. that should be the optimum setting the oracle reffered to! once youve done that you can hunt down the thread "greasing the rose joint nipples"
took me a while to work out WTF they were all on about till earlier today. F A O people whose job it is to name technical parts, it looks nothing like a rose, more like an onion.
hope that helps.
ps terry posted a pic earlier of the nipple for greasing.

Has anyone had any probelms removing the stud that runs through the rose joint. I've got the nut off the outside but can undo the bolt that runs through. Is it threaded through the rose joint? Is it locking? HELP!!

Its a plain bolt that pushes through the rose joint, the only threaded bit is the bit the nut goes on.

Its probably rusted in, try soaking it in 'plus gas' penetrating fluid.

You can get it from Halfords
