Stu says he has a grease gun that will do the job, he should be able to get it on to ruths nipples, he will pop round :D

Ruth has just said thank you and would love stu to gease her nipples. have you got a suspension loop? cause the nipples on it are SOOOOO small. Has stu's gease gun got a very small adapter?

I too am interested in nipple greasing. It's something that should be done to avoid sticking but it must involve a special tool?

If ruth's nipples are succesfully greased, please let me know how you did it as I'd like to grease mine up too.

Will utterly butterly do the trick ;)

PS Kev we shopped around today or gease guns, but they only had large ones Far to big to do the job.

Surely the problem is not the size of your tool but rather the fact that there are no nipples on the object in question - I had a look at my Monster today but can't find them.

Perhaps I'm just too innocent and can't recognise a nipple when I see one - or am I looking in the wrong place?

Confused!!!!

I just discovered today that some clever chap had assembled the rose joints on my bike with the nipples facing forward!

mine are tiny! and i only found them on close inspection, as mentioned faceing the front of the bike. any ideas as to where to find a small enough grease gun.

did em at weekend. step one. remove paint that u have just applied...wont apply to most of u! then use something to hold bearing whilst u inject it in, i used a syringe having mixed silko rst grease with a lighter oil to thin the viscosity...and a blast of silkolene wd just out of habit really! result no creaks.
ps tip for those who cant find them, theyre tiny and nipple wise they're inverted.

to hell with the forum we have our own web niche here :) seriously though duke make no mention in haynes on how regularly they need doing but it looks like a well made/sealed joint ( I was suprised) Im sure u can get em lubed no problemo, after all it was your orig post that got my head going (so to speak if we wish to continue the inevitable ukmoc innuendo!) and Im no mechanic just a warranty infringinging curious monkey!
