Back by popular demand...its Boozy's Hampshire Tour..
same (kinda) format as last year..mystery tour with pub lunch..
taking in some of the New Forrest..
i have started planning routes and have some pubs in mind, so could all who intend joining the megga tour post on here so i can organise some pub grub..
..lets make it better than last year...(23 Monsters)..

:p the planning is well under way for the tour folks...i have some pubs lined up for lunch..do you want to have food early..(12:30-1 ish)..or later in the New Forrest??..(2:30 ish)..if later we will do the usual coffee(cig) stop..and of course we will be having ice-cream.. :bunny:

Think that should be up to you old chum, although may I suggest that if we are having a late lunch, that the (inital) meet point has the option of a snack for those who have got up early to make it over Hants way? (thinking those from Crawley, London & Surrey etc. and my good self of course!)

yes please, I'd like to come, but rather have lunch at 1 ish than half 2 cos it be by 3 we eat.. and we'd die of hunger.... :(

OK folks..the set off point..meet..is as usual at West Meon little thief....meet 10:30 (for coffee) and set off at 11..
head to Alton then Odiham to join Surrey/London at the lay-bye at the Lord Derby..(J5 M3)
onwards via Hook and a back road..mmm..to the A33 to join the Berkshire mob at Wellington monument...
some nice..(recently restricted) roads to my local for a cig and pop stop bye 12:30ish...
leave Tadley at 1-1:15 to take in the Kingsclere downs and on to Winchester..
Stop at 'The Kings Head' pub in Hursley..(A3090)..to Romsey for lunch..(1:45-2ish)..and then off to the New Forrest...iether ice-cream on a beach,,or in the New Forrest... ;)

See thread in Sussex Events for meeting point/time prior to the run over to West Meon (unless making your own way there of course) - but basically, 9.30am at Bury Hill, leaving 9.45am via Chichester and South Harting/Petersfield...

Matt..i cant do a map link thingy...the basic route is above..with road No'...
we are stopping for coffee at the same pub as last year then on to the pub near Romsey for lunch..
if you are coming up from Poole you could meet at the lunch stop..'Kings Head' pub at Hursley on the A3090 Romsey to Winchester road..hope to see you...(PM me if you want to join earlier)..
