rev counter

Has anybody managed to remove the front of a rev counter as fitted to a later monster ie 2001 which as far as i can see are sealed. Obviously I have'nt got really abusive with it cos i don't want to knacker it completely or has anybody got a spare one that will fit as the 2 little screws that hold the face on have come out and it vibrates annoyingly as you ride.

Yes I did post last week but from i can see the rev counter you have appears to have a metal case mine is plastic and the bezal is stuck on so there does not seem to be a way in unless somebody has found a way of getting in.
