I suppose that the obvious one is that its shorting out,
would it be possible to isolate (disconnect) an indicator at a time, this will make the indicator flash twice as fast but it might show where the fault lies,
do you have resistors in parralell to the lamps.
If it was ok before check that all has gone back the way it came out, trapped wires in head lamp/under the seat,
is the lamp polarity sensitive, swap the wires over

Buy an M900

Why did you have to change the old one?

well if you had a 900 the indicators would work!
Ill just loosen my collar while I put me ead on the block

it might be worth having a second look, if it went once it could be good to find the fault in your time not when out and about.

I can't work out if you have sorted out the fuse blowing problem but if not try changing the wires round some aftermarket indicators have an earth through the mounting bolt so if you get the wires arse about face it blows the fuse. Just a thought as I managed to do it with the ones I fitted.
