Italian Day at the Ace

Anyone want to go to the Ace this weekend for Italian Day - Sunday 9th if I've got it right?

I'll be leaving my neck of the woods in East London about 11.30 weather permitting - i.e. its not doing what it is right now - pouring down and contemplating the need for flippers...

Will hopefully be a good day and maybe monster-filled too...

Double hurrah! Hope that the number plate is now back on the back of the bike! I can recommend making a few laminated versions with velcro!!! Reckon my leathers are just about dry again and despite the personal rain cloud and thorough soaking getting home yesterday Jenny is still determined to learn to ride - said she didn't mind the weather! Sounds like we will have a goodly number! Dibble, officer I presume, we can meet easily enough - from the A12 get onto the westbound north circular and go to the exit for Chingford and Walthamstow - this is the Walthamstow dog track exit. Basically, off the north circ and round the roundabout its the 4th exit and the dog track is on your right pretty much immediately where there is parking (opposite the great big turn off for Sainsburys - fuel there too) OR for a bit of a giggle we could meet at the Harley Davidson dealership called "Stadium" which is just along the same road as the dog track about half a mile on the right - let me know and I can be there to meet you - let me know if anyone else wants to meet up and we can arrange times etc otherwise I'll head on straight round to the Ace. God I hope the weather improves... I am sick of attaching the snorkel to the helmet.....

Surryites are planning to leave Box Hill at 11am for ride up to the Ace Cafe for Italian day.
We will be meeting up with CK & AK at Junction 11 M25 (Woking side) at about 11.20

Hello one and all - after being piddly-wet through most of the last three days I believe the duck tail unit doodah at the back of a bike has actually evolved into a duck...Well it should have done given the amount of water it's been in! Meanwhile I will be at the Harley Dealership at 11.15 tomorrow morning (IF DRY!) and will be happy to ride round that lovely north circular to the Ace for my brekkie and to watch the donut eaters batle out who owes what - that could be taken in many ways!!! Enjoy the English weather, I'm off to look at a BMW F650 in COlchester for a work bike - hope it come with heated grips AND water skis...
