Dumb question time

I know this is a dumb question, which I should know the answer to, but can anyone tell me the thread diameter of my the mirrors
on my 2001 S4, is it 8mm or 10mm, or something different ???.

BTW. it's 10mm, or it should be anyway...

PS. If you're getting new mirrors (presumably), do check the tread direction of the RH mirror socket, as they tend to be reversed (anti-clockwise) thread.

If I culd have been arsed, I would have gone into my shen and got my Digital Vernier calipers out of my tool box, but I thought I would have got an instant response on here. It seems that you are the only one in the whole club who has any idea IIII.
