Pads are about £12 - £15 per disc and original Brembo pads are just as good as aftermarket, considering Brembo make some of the best brakes in the world. Its tempting to put race pads in but these need to get hot to work well and for normal road use may not be as good as standard.

Labour - allow about 30 minutes per caliper.

Its worth having the fluid changed if its not been done in the last 2 years and this will add another 1hr overall plus consumables of about £5.

'OE discs work best with OE pads' or so they say. Ride did some pad tests and Carbone Lorraine jobbies came out rrumps, but Brembo weren't mentioned.
Oh and £12-15 a disc? Not in my area they ain't! Try about £25+ !
I only got mine cheaper 'cos I took an MPS catalogue in the shop and showed them the price of £17.99 a disc, sop they matched it.

On the Brembo discs I found the EBC HH Pads superb, about £18 per caliper, work well from cold and dont fade either.

Dont use the EBC Greenstuff "Kevlar" pads, they are downright scary and not far off lethal in the wet:eek:

HH is the compound to go for ;)

Ferk me, if your going to pay someone £170 to do it, take a ride out to sunny Southend and I`ll do it for £150;) :D

Seriously if you want it done, I`ll do it one weekend for you for a sensible price:D
