19th May Bedford Meet

Anybody interested in a Bedford area evening meet? Open to suggestions....

My idea would be to meet at the Embankment pub at 6:45, head off for a bit of a ride out at 7:00 and back to the pub for a drink and a natter afterwards.

If you're up for that, or have any better ideas, let me know.

Only a maybe from me. I have busy week (workwise) from the 17th and I can't promise I'd be out of work, on the bike and in bedford by 7.00pm.

I'll only know on the day if i can make it.

The Embankment Hotel is...

Head into Bedford town centre, ride down the High Street (1 way), at the end, just before the bridge turn left down the Embankment, alongside the river. Go over a mini roundabout and the pub is on your left.

Doubt I will be able to make it.... was stuck here till 7.00 last night and its looks like being a long day today!

But if i get out in time i'll be over so please hang on until 7.00.

If you want to meet slightly later, I think we will go for a bit of a ride at 7:00 and come back to the pub for around 8:00 for a drink and a chat, so could meet you at 8:00. Would be good if you can make it so we can discus format for future meetings.

looks like I just missed the meet this time. I'll check a bit more often to see if you arrange a follow-up one in June.

I'm off to the BMF this week-end, but would welcome a ride-out in the future with any other Bedford Monster owners.

Are you guys aware that loads of bikes meet up every tuesday around 7.30 in Clophill at the local pub??

Bike appears fine, just scraped the sliders a bit, which is what they're made for.

I on the other hand ache like !!!!! It's a straight road home from where we met apart from one roundabout which I got carried away at with cold tyres! Don't think anything is broken, just hurts.

Hi Chris,

The weekly bike meet in Clophill is around 7.30 at the Green Man Pub. Coming from Bedford on the A6 you turn into Clophill just before the main roundabout and it is about 100yds on your left opposite a large green. You can't miss it 'cos there are normally loads of bikes all round the green.

I don't go every week, but if anyone is going, let me know and I will try to meet up with you.

Looking forward to much beer and bikes at the BMF this week-end.
