My S4 has a cute screen but for the annual trip sur le continent I would like a bigger one!
The Monster catalogue does have one. But, not for S4's.
Anyone tried any others?

DP did used to do a touring screen, but not sure if they still do. You might have to source a universal screen from M&P or somebody similar, or do the neck exercises more regularly!
Going anywhere nice? I'm off to Mugello for the GP, looking forward to it. :-)

You might try these, I sourced a dark smoked screen for a 620 earlier this year.

Thanks for all the advice. Did look at the web site but no luck.
I did ask my local dealer to order the touring screen from the accessories catalogue thinking I would "make" it fit but they had none in stock last year.
Touring France in June, only a week but it is the week before the Track Day.

Excellent, that's at least 3 of us from Bedford going up there. Are you planning on riding up in the morning?

As regards the Track Day. I will be taking the bike on the trailer. There will be two of us using the bike that day so it's best not to start by having a row about who is riding up there. Bit sensible but it does afforf the opportunity to offer a carrying up there of any bits and pieces you have.
The carbon screen. How do I get in touch with him and is it that much bigger?

Well here I am.....
Screen is a little taller and simply fits on by the headlight mount bolts - 2 minute job - should fit all Monsters irrespective of age.
It's not a great deal taller (maybe a coulpe of inches) but does deflect the wind slightly differently. Not sure if i'd class is as a "touring screen" though - it's nothing like your CHiPs jobby.
Let me know if it sounds the sort of thing you're after Elaine and i'll post you some dims and piccies.
Cheers

I would like to have a look at the screen please.
I think I have seen it in a catalogue.
Dimensions would also be very useful and last but not least, how much?
The CHIPS screen would be sensible but would look so bad!!
Now all I have to do is find out what sort of neck exercises Chris was on about.
Thanks

Elaine, you preferences won't allow me to PM or email you so hope this comes out ok although the picture quality is sh*te.
It's 360mm from where the top of the headlight sits to the lowest point in the plexiglass.
Screen has a few marks etc and would be a bargain at £40.00 IMO.
(If you buy it & you're not happy then i'll refund your dosh)
Cheers
Billy

Thanks for the picture BB.
I have been out with the tape measure and it is in fact 100mm bigger.
Sensible chap says to ask if it will fit an S4 cos they are different from the other monsters. The OE screen fits onto a bracket above the headlight!! It is getting technical now!
I want the screen so how do we swop?

Mail me your address Elaine & i'll give you mine..oh er missus.
Go to the members screen, find me and you can PM or send me std email.
Screen should fit the S4 cus the headlights etc. are all the same. This screen literally bolts through the headlight mounting brackets - it doesn't use any other type of mounting at all.
And yep, Nattyboy Independent Traders is owed drinking vouchers for sure.
