steel swingarm's being painted, cheaper option but can't be doing with powder coat etc palaver. I ve got a load of red oxy primer left over from working on narrow boat steel. thing is I cant put cellulose spray on red oxy primer. seeing as Im a bit jackson pollocks with a paintbrush could anyone recomend a spray paint that will do the trick?

I'm also avoiding the "hammerite the world" approach as I don't have a gpz lowrider, kiddie porn collection, nazi memorabillia and ***********s MC on the back of a frayed denim cut off!!

Curiously yours.

You can get hammerite in a spray can nowadays, smooth finish too, not just the hammered finish. I use the spray one on parts of my car, strangely hammerite yellow spray paint is practically the same colour as BL Inca Yellow, go figure.

Alternatively, many spray paint suppliers / manufacturers can knock up a 2 pack paints in a spray can for you. Normally the colour in one and the top coat in another. Only lasts about 4 hrs before it sets in the can, but that should do it I suppose.

What colour you after??
