Hi all,
Would anybody be interested in a cheap 900S monster? I bought this earlier in the year as a 'doer upper" but just don't have the time.
It's a 2000 model black fuel injected with from memory about 38,000 on the clock.
Been kept outside under a cover for quite a while so it's scruffy, one dent in the tank LHS (standard lockstep dent from being dropped many years ago, no other damage) otherwise it's OK apart from scruffy engine paint, footrest hangers etc.
Fully adjustable Showa forks, it's had a seal leak and I suspect there's not much oil in there so the forks feel harsh, I will supply a new set of fork and dust seals with the bike.
Ohlins rear shock, hose connections rust coloured and the spring plastic coating is flaky but otherwise looks and feels good.
Almost new tyres.
Fly screen, carbon hugger / carbon underseat infills and front mudguard, carbon heel guards on the exhausts.
Ducati Performance Termi cans, carbon.
Rear seat fairing is missing.
The bike starts, runs and rides and has a current MOT until August.
Pictures will be available as soon as I go out and take some, which I will do if there's any interest!
Needs a full service, including valve clearances, fork seals, belts.
Fuel level sensor not working.
Nasty aftermarket mirrors, reasonable aftermarket indicators.
Not been tail chopped.
No fault codes showing when plugged into ducatidiag.
£1700 collected from Gloucestershire.
Got to be worth more in parts but seems a shame to break a functioning bike!
