Flagging up eBay items is against my principles really, but I thought I would give these a plug as they are so rare these days.

Note that it's the mounts only and not the bags.
If you are interested ask the seller if the keys are there or they aren't worth a light!
I think they're a bit on the salty side, especially with no bags, but I would say that they are the best pannier set up for an old shape Monster. (No good on single sided swing arm models and later.)
I've had a pair on mine for a few years now and I can't do without them. They are dead easy and quick to get on and off, hold a lot and have been waterproof so far.

i've been looking for some panniers for a while, but i loathe to get rid of the sil motor under seat cans and i know that you can't have both!

Exhausts for my 900sie dont come up often, so its not like there are any lower cans that i could pop on instead!

I use M750 silencers on my M900Sie, they are about 1 1/2" shorter than the original ones.
I polish off the anodising to give them a twinkle and make them much easier to look after.
With the current ones, I've drilled 4 @ 3.5mm holes in each, in the end plate between the inner and outer tail pipes, so they are not very visible and can be sealed with panhead self tappers if needs be.
It lets just a little more bass out without being noisy or drawing attention, but it still runs sweet as a nut.
You can pick up M750 silencers for next to nothing, but try and find un-dented ones, little scratches will polish out.

I've got a Givi top box mount for my 900 build which will be coated and only fitted on rare occasions due to stylistic reasons but these would be ideal as I'll be running 2/3 length stock level oval carbon cans - shame there's no bags though.

Man alive that bike is mint! Have you ever ridden it? My bikes look like the inside of a bin compared to that shiny thing!

Thanks Ben. it's nudging 50,000 miles, there was just under 21000 on it when I bought it non-running.
She won Bike of the Year 2017.
I don't have a car so it's my main transport, or was until I bought another bike mid December which I've already done 400 miles on.

My Dad always told me to give it a wipe after I used it.

Good to see my old panniers getting used as they should.
