Well I am glad that’s out of the way, wet Sunday, floods on the roads,Lockgate packed with what seemed to be a Porsche gathering….phew!

Well done to Pete who once more put us to shame by actually riding to the venue, Chris , Mark and I showing up in four wheeled transport, he is a tough one is Pete.

So a few items tabled that we will be working on for the new year ,amongst proposals,

Trip to Maxton suspension specialists
Trip to the Avro museum at Woodford
A return to devils bridge…Wales
A return to devils bridge, York’s……with Nigel as our guide.
A mini tour…..possible cloverleaf in Scotland.

First though a small matter of getting the 30th anniversary weekender nailed….it’s proving to be quite a challenge.

So until next month, the first Sunday in February will be on us soon enough, here is a pic of some wet German cars…..:ukm:

Ha .. That reminds me of the last WDW that I went to. I think it was 2018.
Myself, Max and Mario set off from Tavullia one morning, heading over a small mountain and down to the coast at Pesaro for a dip in the Adriatic.
I now recall, somewhat incredulously, that it was the only time I've ever ridden in shorts (WDW had been moved to August and so it really was stinking hot that year).
We also came across a Porsche convention but this one was out on a narrow mountain road and there were at least 50 of them.
The other two guys were a bit miffed at being held up but I quite enjoyed weaving through a bunch of interesting Porches, some of which dated back to the 1960s.
Happy days.

Hi Jeff, yea there was another half dozen in the car park but not in a line plus I was getting wet !….. a few bob’s worth for sure

I was working in Scotland a while back , on a hydro scheme near kinloch rannoch, I had a similar experience when the total silence was broken by a line of ferrari that numbered over twenty coughed and spluttered past where I was parked…..I just had to follow to find out what was going on…….it was the German Ferrari club annual road trip…magic.
