Yes, a centre stand would be great, and wouldn't really get in the way. If you do fit one, let me know how you get on, as I can't get mine to fit properly... but I won't give up!

I read somewhere that it can get in the way on left hand bends... thats puttin me off right there! Got a nasty scar from a left hander... still makes me feel sick!

It can/could? get it the way due to the fact that the kick-down bit sits proud of the cans.

IMO if you are often that far over on the road then it's only a matter of time before you have an off anyway.

Well Steviej Thought center stand might be a good idea because as you know you can't leave the side stand down and have the bike running. Also the knocking over aspect, sure I could think of some other reasons.... but my brain hurts now!...J x

Spareshack do/did sell bypass switches to allow you to run the bike with the sidestand down. Easy to fit and work a treat; great for warming the beast up! I have one that was fitted to a 750ss. If it will work on your bike then you can have it

Also the stand will allow you to remove wheels etc and oil chain easier (for the un enlightened who don't have an auto oiler ;) )
The stand is only just proud of the cans, and is sprung not fixed....

For warming up on side stand get a bypass switch.

For checking the bike over, oil level etc... get a paddock stand. For chavscum, electrify the bike when you're not on it!

Where can I buy a centre stand to fit a 750 Monster? I am already p****d off with trying to do things at 30 degrees. You need to be 8 feet 6 tall to use a paddock stand without dropping the bike at least once a week.

I bought mine from the local Ducati dealer (Parkinsons at Colchester) - they had one in stock. I guess any Ducati dealer should be able to get one.

Mine didn't come with any instructions - so if you get stuck let me know and I'll post some piccies.
