Ooooh to chop or not to chop- that is the question!!

Is the S4 a future classic that should now be treated with some sympathy or just chopped and modded as Ducati intended???

Roll on the replies and welcome along :D

Welcome aboard Les,you could swap the original out for a carbon version .? There was a thread a while back regarding tail chop,or no tail chop...... I am sitting on the fence on this one!
( note my 821 has evo tech tail tidy ):D:thumbsup:

There are shorter DP style carbon versions available as an alternative: -

I included this one as it shows what it looks like fitted on the bike.

On my 750 I kept the tea tray and made a bracket for the indicators then removed everything else which tidied it up a bit, the 900 was bought chopped and my S2r turned up intact with lots of carbon bits but I cut it off anyway.

Pics of the S4?

Welcome to the forum Lessaint. I would never mod a bike in any way that cannot be fully reversed.

Welcome on board.

Nearly anything physical that was made can be re-made. That includes the tail end of bike frames. Just keep all of the pieces safe in case you or the next owner change their mind!

It does appear to make them cheaper to buy with bits of the frame missing: -
