It was indeed, on 13th July 2019.

Saw a few UKMOC members there.

Welcome Riccardo. Darkness, v.nice '93 M900 and nice Laverda Jota 120 in the background too! Those Cagiva are pretty rare beasts too but what was that you parked it behind? I couldn't even guess what that was!

I think that is an MV Agusta Brutale? What do you think Char?

I’m assuming you didn’t mean the Guzzi bacon slicer!

No not the Brutale or the bacon slicer. It looks like it has solid tyres!

Nice, and looks like you’ve been gentle with it.

What’s the story with the red one? I’m partial to a nice ‘93.

The red one is a original M900 1993, but it was very in bad conditions.
I'm working on to give it old wonderful condition.

Now frame is to the sandblaster and engine is in my workshop to change bearings and all other parts.

Good to hear. It’s not easy matching the original frame paint, unless there’s still some Italian paint they’ve been keeping secret!

Some more photo’s showing what you have done/are doing would be great.

Albie’s thread makes good reading:

Good luck!

When painting one of mine I couldn’t find out what the Lechler code actually meant in terms of pigment mix. I ended up matching the unweathered paint under the Type Approval tag to a Mercedes paint shade.

It looks like Lechler DUC 99 is available in the UK too.

Have you repainted yours yet Albie as they aren’t too far from you?

No but will be going to get some asap. I took interest in this last night. Fed up up with looking at bits and almost got the TY80 done so now unemployed from August I can take my time to put back together slowly whilst doing the pistons etc.

Just make sure that DUC 99 bronze isn’t the Ducati 916 frame colour as that isn’t the same as was used on the M900.

I cheked PPG 00005 it's colour of 748 1995 and DUC99 is colour of M900, I think it is true.
