The bores on my M900 are looking good, but there is a little carbon on the piston tops.

And the rearmost corners of the tank on my 900SS project are in quite good shape compared to most. But I'll need to swish some rust killer in there sooner rather than later.

My new Toy arrived yesterday.

i'm really impressed with it for the price, except the right angle mirror attachment which isn't very clear.
The magnet attachment to retrieve small items is great as is the small hook.
The stills are good quality, but I've not recorded a video yet.

And far from being too dim I've found the image quality is better with the LEDs in the end turned down to Half power.

Yet another phone App though.

I actually brought it to inspect a couple of areas in my boat hull that I can't get to, but I think it's going to be useful in the workshop, but maybe more on my Landrover than the bikes.

I really am impressed for the price.

The cable is actually very stiff and stays in the shape you bend it to in order to put it where you want it.

It's a shame about the right angle mirror, I need to have a better look at it, and possibly experiment with how far to screw it onto the head. When I tried to look at the valves using the mirror I could get a good quality image of the valve stems but not the valve seat area as it was too close to the mirror.
The head and mirror were of course pushed through the plug hole.

One mod I'm going to make is to put a short length of heatshrink at the back of the head to taper it into the cable.
A couple of times the back of the head got caught on the inside edge of the plug hole and needed far more wiggling than i was happy with to get it out again.

Does it support iphone?
When i was looking a while ago, they all seemed to be for android phones.

Brilliant! You could look up your relatives with that.

If you click on the link to the Draper site in my first post, then go to the manuals tab, the instructions do give two options to connect to it. Iphone and Android.

I can only comment on what I've found with my Android phone though.

My son is a Vet Nurse, and I'm wondering if the Dog should be worried.

Nasher, worth making sure anything attached to the head (eg the mirror) is firmly fixed onto the borescope head so it does not become detached during use and remain inside whatever you are inspecting.
Borescopes are used quite a bit to inspect gas turbines, and have seen a few aircraft engines which had to be removed and sent to the shop because interchangeable heads had been released from the ends of flexible borescopes, or even complete ends cut off them because an engine shaft was rotated and a blade cut the end off.

Nice and, as usual the quality gets better every year/month/week.

I've got a similar camera, albeit USB for laptop etc. bought a few years ago, probably a similar price point but the image quality is nowhere near as good - time to upgrade I suppose...

That's one of the things I'm impressed with.

i assumed the attachments would be a simple press fit and may come off, but actually they screw on with a very fine thread so would be very difficult to dislodge accidentally.

And No D69, I'm not going to stick it up my Bum.

One of those things I'll probably never use and have no need for (but I'll reply to this thread so I can find it later..!)
