Way back in February BL (before lockdown) I had a pair of the above fitted to my 1100 Evo, having previously been fitted with the usual Pirelli Diablo's.

I was considering Michelin Pilot Road Pilot 4's after reading various road tests but my usual tyre supplier strongly recommended the Conti's. They were also cheaper than the Michelins and unlike some Pirelli's that are made in China, the Conti's are German-made if that is important to you.

Since fitting, the bike has been sitting in the garage & hasn't turned a wheel until today.

Whilst I accept today wasn't exactly typical riding weather (21 degrees & dry) and I was only out for about one hour, I have to say I was very, very impressed with the stability and general behaviour of the bike compared with the Pirelli's.

As many of you will know, I am not even approaching being a knee-down merchant but I enjoy a brisk ride when conditions allow.

Updates to follow but initial impressions are very positive.

Also, at the moment, Conti are offering a rather natty & neat Nelson Rigg tankbag free with each pair of tyres (not that that swayed me in any way).
