Looking around the bike earlier I noticed a rubber tube hanging between the swing arm and the back of the engine casing.
Following the tube up it appears to have been one of two broken tubes that follow up to the bottom the fuel tank.
Haynes manual say’s these are fuel tank breathers.
Could anyone confirm and also more importantly let me know if there’s any issue with them sitting where they currently are in the cutoff state, behind the clutch.
I will of course contact Moto Rapido for replacements on Monday but if it’s not safe to ride over the weekend it would be good to know.
Picture shows my finger across both tubes.

they are only vents and oveflows , dont need ducati hoses any decent same sized fuel resistant hose is ok even cut down they wont do much harm unless they are blocked or leaking onto hot parts

what year is your 750

Not sure exactly how they are on a carby tank but on mine I have the overflow and breather connected as they exit the tank into a 'Y' piece and then just a single hose down to the ground, tidies things up a bit IMO.

Up for that Jerry. Let me know good times for you and we can figure something out?

In the Haynes manual it’s illustrated like that. I’ll be ordering some fuel safe rubber tubing and the ‘Y’ piece.
