Kev came over to our house in Loughborough then on to Nats in leics where New Mon, Andrew, mand and Alex were waiting. From there we went over to Bosworth to meet Banshee, El and stevie.

STEVIE had ridden over 150 miles to meet us. He has to be hero of the day!! Thanks Steve it was great to meet you. We will return the trip soon.

After hot drinks we left to ride over to Staunton Harold...ok now it got interesting. Sorry Banshee, El and Alex It was me that said we were going to the reservoir. However we went to the tea shop place. Well done on finding us. I will be more prepared next time.

Chips all round and warm up.

The bikes got very muddy it looked like we had been off roading!

We all said our goodbyes from there and made our way home.

Hope you all got back ok.

and once again THANK YOU ALL for making it such a good day.

Many thanks to everyone esp. Julie for organising the day. It was good to see you all for the first time. We had an eventful day. I went off to fetch a mate from Hinckley but he dropped his bike on his drive! Andrew and I had to go back earlier than the rest of you and we found some fun roads on the way back. Traffic was light and the wind had dried the roads. We got blown about quite a bit. My waterproofs acted like a sail and I struggled to keep up with Andrew at times. I think I'll put the screen back on.

See you all soon!!

Pete

your telling me!! You are bloody mad.

So how far from Stoke are you?

steviej
14-03-2004, 11:48 AM
Stoke is 53 miles (via Congleton) No Motorway

Horwich to Sutton Cheney (via Lichfield) Nearly all Motorway approx 135 miles.

Sutton Cheney to Horwich (via 'Run Out', Stoke, Congleton, Manchester, Bolton). No Motorway approx 110 miles.

So there you go, it was ONLY 240/250 miles round trip.......

My Parents live in Audley near Congleton.

I fancy a ride over to the Ducati Dealers in your area some time.

I'll let you know and we could meet up?

steviej
14-03-2004, 12:03 PM
Nearest Duc dealer to moi is 'Fylde Superbikes' @ Preston.

Meeting 'Half' way would probably be 'Manchester Ducati' @ Knutsford, Unless you know anymore??

steviej
14-03-2004, 12:08 PM
Sorry, that 'half' way is about 2/3rd you, 1/3 me..

Andrew here - just to show i'm alive. Note newmon's comments about my bike being faster. I reckon it could be my fairing. (That and having my chin on the tank).

All you nakeds may have to re-think - get your bikini out.

Julie

Hello Julie,

You're right, I haven't been reading PMs. I used to rely on getting a conventional email telling me that I have a PM. That doesn't work any more. In fact I haven't had an email from this board since the upgrade. You have my email address, feel free to contact me that way.
