Well, I finally got to fit my panniers, nothings ever simple is it?

When I got the bike the first thing that had to be done was to fit a tail tidy. This moves the indicators forward, consequently the rear pannier bracket then fouls the indicator and won't fit.
Solution, do I fabricate a bracket to move the indicators back about an inch or so. Or, do I go for the integrated rear light and indicator setup. I chose the latter. Looking around, these lights are available in the U.K. for about £60, anyway, I found one on ebay from China (surprisingly) for £20 odd inc shipping. Have to say the quality of it is rather good for the price. I have had to order some load resistors though (£4.39 ebay)

Finally though, the panniers are now fitted and I like em.

Question! How does the heat from the exhaust affect the base of the panniers? I say that because the Ducati Performance tail pack which sits on the seat and works very well! A little small but I’ve always managed!

They are Hepco and Becker city bags. They sit well proud of the exhausts and 22ltrs per side.

Good answer!

Watch out when going through a gap that you don’t hang yourself on a post or vehicle!

Remind me of the question lol.

As for gaps and hanging ones self. I've been squeezing through....
