have found on ebay the appropriate twin calipers, now to source some decent discs at a reasonable price

loads of crap on Ebay at variable prices and quality

The standard fitment for the 600 is a 78B40870 so you'd need two of those (they're not directional so you won't need specific 'left' and 'right' discs).

If you're looking for something different, I had Galfers on my S2R and Mr Gazza is a happy user of Arashi.

Be aware that you'll need a twin caliper master cylinder to operate the twin calipers, otherwise you'll have loads of movement at the lever.

The RHS Caliper can be hard to find, but some other makes had a single front disc and cailper on the right hand side using the same Brembo caliper and can be cheaper on EBAY - I can't remember if it's RG 250 or TZR 250, but that's where my RHS Caliper came from.

The Brembo 320mm discs come up on EBAY all the time with lots of different centre patterns around the 6 bolt holes, be careful though you don't buy later 5 holes discs by mistake.
The more solid original Monster SS style with round holes are always cheaper.

Just looked back and the one I purchased to convert my 600SS front end to twin calipers was TZR125.
It was silver and I had to paint it, but they are identical in every other way.

Having had a quick look there appears to be several different makes and models of caliper used on TZRs and RGs, so be careful.

My Belgarda Yamaha TDR125 has exactly the same front disc as my M900 just so you have another source to search for ;)

How many pistons do your new calipers have? If it's 4 (per caliper) you'll need a 16mm master cylinder (Brembo no. 10462047 PS16); if it's 2 then you'll be OK with a 15mm (Brembo no. 10462067 PS15). The standard 600 has a 13mm cylinder.

Both those part numbers are for coffin type master cylinders to match your clutch.

I converted my 750SS to twin discs using the early, pre Goldline 4 pot callipers. I retained the original master cylinder and yes, there was more travel in the lever, but it really helped to control all that extra braking power, with added feel. I never ran out of lever travel.

You might want to look at Arashi discs direct from China. They are really very good indeed and very good value for money. I use them on my M900 and I can't fault them.
They are wavy discs though, so if that's not your style, I'm sure that they do plain discs too?

EBC ones look the most like the standard Brembo ones and reasonably priced too if waveys not really your style. Can't really comment on the quality of them though.

Set up an ebay search, I picked up a pair of nearly brand new Brembo Clubmans a while back for £200 and they are like 'as new' and from what I've seen they're more than double that price new. I think around £500 a set!
