Just be aware that, as far as I know, the stock spring for the 1100S is a 1092-49, which is rated at 130N/mm. I think the stock Öhlins shock was a DU738.

The 1092-41 is a softer 115N/mm and is standard on the lower spec DU737 (I know as I have one on my 1100 Evo).

The 130N/mm seems too hard to me but perhaps reflects the sportier pretentions of the 1100S.

It's in obeyance, weather and all. Had the bike since November and spent most of the time cleaning and unsiezing it.

Not jeopordising all my housework running it to the shop.

It will be going to Bury Motorcycle Centre, where I got it from for them to play with (I shall report back)

In the meantime, I know I need a softer spring...

It's too hard. Lots of research has led me to the 115 I'm only a skinny f^^^^^^^

I use a 100nm

Im 83kg kitted

Perfect but mt m1100evo is 15kg lighter than std so 115 might be best
130 is fine if you ride two up all the time
