Speedp & Tacho

Hi all, anybody got a Speedo & Tacho instrument cluster for a monster, early electronic speedo type 2002 onwards with traditional looking dials, to be used with a SR2 1000 engine and a 170/60 17 tyre. Can anybody help, reasonable price paid Bitza.

Aren't they electronically integral to the ECU once they have been initially paired?

Yes, I think they are but I was informed by Nelly @ Cornerspeed that it might be possible to override that. He couldn't do it with his gear but knew someone who could possibly do it. Otherwise you're looking at anywhere between £500-900 for a matched pair.

If the ECU is a Weber-Marelli 5.9M or 5.AM model, then Avanti can reset it so it will work with a replacement clockset.

From memory, I think my S2R 1000 had a 5.9M ECU.
