Evening,
Are lambda sensors one size fits all? Or does any one know the thread size for the Monster 796 please?
I want to get some nice Ti blanking plugs.
Cheers

I believe all the lambdas are M18 x 1.5. I've got these stainless plugs on my Evo:

but if you must have titanium, there are these:

Pretty sure I've go a pair that I bought in error (SS not Ti though) yours if you want 'em.

Be careful of using plenty of good quality heat resistant anti seize. In a hot environment it does not take much to get Ti threads to gall and get just about permanently welded together.

Hi Mr Luddite,
I know this is an old post so I hope you don’t mind me ressurecting it. I
Did you also replace the two smaller plugs with stainless that are also in the headers?
Ta
the small ones (I think) are 1/8 bsp.

As slob says, they are 1/8" with M10 x 1.25 thread. I believe they're already stainless, so I didn't bother replacing them.

Thank you both. If they are already stainless then I’ll not bother

From the manual (if that's to be believed!):

they're not 1/8", they're 1/8 bsp, which is ~8.8mm @28 tpi

Thanks, Rob. I should know better by now than to quote the manual. (Although I did add the caveat "if that's to be believed"!)
I made a titanium pair as Oz and I were unable to locate that size bungs in Ti, a royal PITA turning down 10mm race bolt shanks and then thread cutting by hand. Learnt a lot about working Ti though.
