As above, anyone know for certain whether a full system for an S2r will fit an S4R?

I thought I'd read they would, but am dubious as the two motors are quite different?

Full system won't, the 800 and s4r have the same pipes from the cat section to the endcans so are the same but the headers are different, the 1000 has a different set up as they have no joins, though it also uses the same s-pipes and endcans

Thanks dave, not sure what your reference to the 1000 is though? I have the S4R with the 996 DQ engine, sounds like the S2r headers won't fit that?

The 1000 uses pipes that are one piece from the header to the s pipes so are unique to that motor the 800 and s4r use header stubs that then fit into a generic system that is the same for both bikes.

The system from an S2R 800 will fit the S4R. I sold one a few months ago. Its the S2R1000 that doesn't fit.

Obviously if the full system includes the head manifolds from the cylinder heads, then they won't be the same but the rest should be. I'll post a link to the one had, its probably easier to see.

Yea, as mentioned in that thread the Testastretta S4R is a different animal altogether but if you have an earlier DQ S4R 996 the main downpipes are generic, its just the header stubs on the S2R800 and S4R that are different. Hope that helps?
