Welcome and pics are always nice to see. I like early monsters and all monsters tbh. I seem to have an obsession with old bikes now though.

Already smitten with your Italian v twin? Then this is the place to be for sure. The air cooled 904 is an absolute classic, every bike fan should ride one or even own one. Already well regarded in SS form the Monster just opened the floodgates and probably saved the company at the same time.

Welcome along and Yep, there's definitely something about the air cooled carby motor.

Oh! We need photos or it doesn't exist though please!! :mand:

You need to use a host site like Photobucket etc.

You aren't the first to struggle with photo's, but it can be done:

You didn't say anything about it having the whole Road Racing catalogue thrown at it.

Nice. Did the previous owner know what he/she was selling or did you manage to steal it?

It's ram raided the RR shelf as others have pointed out. Beware jealous UKMOC'ers offering you their first borns for shiny bits.

He was asking £2600 for her but I tempted him with my xjr1300sp and I got a swap
Also came with Harris carbon cans and a tiny aluminium belly pan which I'll be fitting at some point soon

I think you got a steal. You wouldn't pay much less for a good condition totally standard one IMO.

Well IMO the best way to sell would be to remove the RR bits and replace with standard. You would prob/poss/depends then get between 2200 to 2400 for the bike and be left with a load of valuable and hugely saleable bits. I've no idea how much each is worth as it doesn't float my personal boat (apart from the tank but I'd either strip and polish or repaint) but I'm sure others could provide a rough est.
