Due to an infamous Sprung leak underneath my fuel tank (plate with bracket that hinges on to frame), i decided to get it welded and like a noob i wasnt aware the electrics and fuel pump that were inside the tank were directly behind that plate, so welding fried everything and pump no longer works, need to replace it, the price on the oem parts inside the tank total to around 200quid. I was wondering if anyones had any experience with the aftermarket parts on Ebay for around 30quid and if they're any good or if anyone can suggest any other ones as im on a bit of a budget.

Thanks for any suggestions/help.

There are various links to pumps in places, CA Cycleworks do an aftermarket pump but you'll get stung for 6% duty and 20% VAT buying from the States

I've no first hand experience of those £30 quid pattern pumps on ebay but they seem like good buy in theory. The ones I've seen say guaranteed for 2 years
