Thanks Darren

Looking for OE Exhaust location as opposed to under the seat

I can get some ST2 Termi's for 150 euro , might see if an exhaust shop can fabricate something to make them fit

Both types (high and low) are fairly hard to find, but the high levels do tend to come up more often, I can't remember when I saw some low level ones. Several on here are looking for the same. I have some 50mm ones for an S4 kicking about but they'll be too big, I think 900 is 40/45mm.

Yea maybe the ST ones could be made to fit or the other option Is to get another set of standard cans and convert them.

Anything I see on ebay are in the US , OE low level position are near on par pricewise with new cans from EU

My understanding is that ST exhaust mid-pipes point out directly sideways from the bike, I believe so that the exhaust can be pivoted up/down to suit whether in sport or touring mode? (luggage fitted etc.). Whereas the Monster exhausts point (almost) rearwards, if so then definitely not compatible without some modification?

However if the ST Termis have removable link pipes then the cans may well fit, or at least be a close fit, leaving just the link pipes to be modified?

Yes, that's my understanding too. I posted the same on another thread yesterday.

The only possible issue you may have is the ST cans are round and not oval so they may be wider and so not be enough clearance for the swing arm, maybe?

If you're not worried about having genuine Termis:

From: http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=529816

As said I can get exact copies at a good price...

Drop Max (Pompone) a PM to see what he can offer you.

Max own/runs DPP there's a web link, which shows some examples:-

http://www.desmoperformanceparts.com/

I think you really will struggle to find some genuine Termi ones for sensible money.

Found some carbon Termi's over here , like new but they are looking for 900 euro

Saw a very nice M900 on Ducati site for 2K sterling with titanium Termi's

Price point on the carbon Termi's a bit $$$? Is this what you would expect to pay?

Does anybody know the part number for the Termi's for my 1997 bike , I see listings but >MY02 puts me off if they fit , M 1000 ie same exhaust too? S4 the model of my bike?

96007600B Titanium
96007700B Carbon

Do you need to adjust the carbs on the bike when fitted

Those don't look like S4 pipes to me: they have the ST2/3/4 90 degree bend under the engine described in an earlier post.

May be possible to make them fit, but not without substantial work. I'd wait for something else that fits, or have some link pipes made to allow universal carbon cans to be used.

The engraved writing suggests to me that they are either "standard" or "official upgrade" cans. The Ducati Performance labels may or may not be genuine, but they do look a lot like the standard ST cans:

I'm pretty sure those are the standard ST cans. Remus made both standard and DP versions, hence the 'Remus' stamp.
