Hi all: does anyone have a spare pair of the special bolts that mount the speedo and warning lights to the top yoke they would part with?
Or alternatively, can anyone turn down the ends of a pair of stainless Allen bolts to fix the headlight bracket where the bolts protrude under the yoke?
Beer tokens available if you can help.
Thanks.

Are they like these?

Strangely they list the same item for the ie and earlier bikes. Mine are hollow with a smaller thread inside the shaft, like a dome nut.

Yes Nasher, just like those.
I found mine had been over tightened by the previous owner and had cylindrical heads in place of the usual hex. I don't want to put those back as they now have a"rustic" chiselled finish.

Thanks for looking Darren, but they look more like bling washers? Also, not too keen on the price!

Yea,I agree, they changed the design I think. They look far too fancy now even for me. Mine are just black anodized bolts, classy and simple. I'm not much for having the company name on the bolt heads. It's a bit Rizoma-itis! Overpriced tat

I fitted a pair of Nasher's stainless versions.
Which means that I should still have the originals somewhere.
Finding them might be a different matter but if you want std ones you're welcome to them .. if I can find them.

I'm still after a useable pair of these if anyone can oblige me?

Darkness Hi.

Did the Stainless ones not fit?

They should have been OK as they were made to the same Dims as the others.

And my old std ones would be the same dimensions as the Nasher-made ones that replaced them.
.... so they're probably no use to you ???

Stainless ones? I haven't seen any of those.

GPO strikes again?

Ah, that would explain that then, you should have shouted.

I always send everything 'signed for' but as it was a few weeks ago I'll have to see if I still have the receipt and tracking number.

See what I can do this weekend to replace them.

Nasher.

Thanks for your kind offers of help guys, but I've now ordered a pair of these bolts from Luke at MotoRapido as I need to get the front end reassembled to get my '94 back on the road before the Autumn [July?]. :mand:
