Hi, I have just taken delivery of a 2017 1200 Monster, my first Ducati. I want to get some kind of stand and think I favour an Abba Superbike stand over a paddock stand. Has anyone any experience of an Abba stand or other paddock stand? Thanks

Yes the Abba stand is excellent, much better/safer than paddock stands, easy to use on your own with no danger of the bike falling over and will fit whichever bikes you have with just a change of adapters.

I have the front wheel lift arm too but I've not tried it yet.

Here's my M12R up on the Abba stand - inc the front lift arm. Great for cleaning the wheels & lubing the chain....

....also very handy when you need to do this....

Thanks very helpful. Looks good and safer than balancing onto a paddock stand.

Hope it doesn't make the wheels on mine fall off though!!!!:chuckle:

Thanks again

Couldn't recommend the Abba stand enough. It may look a bit primitive in it's design, but it's very heavy duty and allows great access to the bike when paired with the optional arm to lift both wheels off the ground.

+1 from me too. Rock solid and will stay with you no matter your future bike. Get the front lifting kit too.
