I'll try most things once Terry. ;)

By the way I had to order my own cyclecat rearset today seeing as you are too damn selfish to give me yours.

Not intending to fit them. They are just to drool over and fondle and I can't wait. Oh yes............... :D

tut tut...1 x cyclecat rearsets = about 18 months supply of nappies and half a dozen nice frocks for Linda..

Do your family know about this extravagant waste of money???

Gizza picture then !!!!

Family don't know yet and no piccies either. ;) Hopefully picking them up from Spareshack on Sat if they've been delivered and then all I have to do is spend the next 18months working out which ride position I like best. :D

Made the mistake of looking on the website and they do side stands too - i'd always fancied replacing mine cus it's scraped. It'd also stop my bike having that "Help i'm just about to fall over" look.
Maybe in a couple of years when the mortgage is finished on the rearsets ;)

I could have picked those up for yer mate yesterday...I call in at BA regularly which is walking distance form spareshack !!!

Bear it in mind if you need any other bits as im round there 2-3 times a month.

Right, I've pulled my finger out and paid.

Come on guys who are watching. It'll be safer than any road in the country, it's not a race, and there's no cars to content with.

Ah go on, go on, go on....

Like Fat Billy I am on a diet so that I can get into my zip together leathers. I for one am going to be thin and miserable if this event hits the buffers.

Nat,

Voted last week mate - never been on the fence.
Anyone from the deep South West - like Penzance/Plymouth/Exeter etc who may be wavering at a long ride would be welcome to chuck their bike in my van for the ride up to Mallory from Junc 14 of the M5 just North of Bristol.

It wont let me vote again, so unless a moderator can edit it and change mine from "getting thumb out" to "paid" were scuppered!

Me and my 'companions' were planning on going up the night before and stay somewhere near Mallory. Dont really want to get up super early, ride up from London to get there for 8 in the morning, ride round for the day then ride back, not THAT keen! So if other people are gonna go up the night before, maybe find somewhere decent to stay and meet up :)

How many do you need to make it work?

Is there a fast group?

McMONSTRO
07-03-2004, 07:38 PM
Need 90 riders, and I believe that there's groups to suit all levels with instruction, hope its more than "go to the end of the straight and turn right" ;)

Banshee
07-03-2004, 08:24 PM
Most say not, El got his leathers from e bay 52 quid, loads on i'm waitin for the thumbs up from fatbloke, El didnt get full zip, come on come on come on, i'll get you a pint.(at arrow mill)

webbyc

My understanding is that to do any sort of trackday you must have leathers that are either one-piece or 2 piece that zip all the way round. Worth buying decent leathers saved me from a lot more damage last August following a highside at Rockingham. If the bike hadn't fallen on me I'd have got away with just a broken collar bone!!!!!

Seriously though you do need decent kit and not only leathers, there's also limitations as to the types of helmets.

So you need 90-how many so far?

Cheque in post tomorrow. I had no idea the respose would be this limp, and I had forgotten about the deadline!!!.

I've been riding for 12 years and people are still telling me I have no ability!

I think it will be fair to say that 99.9% of riders there will be sympathetic to those less able- you will not be judged - you will be encouraged.

Come and have some fun!!!

Banshee
