I fancy a 790 Duke of it looks like the prototype but not if it looks like the spy shots.
Then again, my garage already isn't big enough :-(

Looking forward to it. I have tickets for Saturday, but I'll be going on the train as the Monster is still in hibernation (as above).

I'll probably sleep through it again!

The D M O L (http://bit.ly/2lX5NpF) bike 'Up Yours Copper (http://bit.ly/2kObk1B)' will be on display in the custom section though. Built by our very own Pompone (http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/member.php?u=31849) (http://www.desmoperformanceparts.com/) and Ray of Ray Petty Meccanica (http://bit.ly/2cV6mBg)

I thought the show was great. First time I've been to ExCel and I was impressed. Felt like a more condensed\compact version of the NEC show, which is no bad thing.

I was there yesterday with my son, he loved it, and I thought it was pretty good also, I love the 1200R OMG, didn't like the matt finish on the superleggera, and I do like the Trumpet triple RS (Shhh)

Also, saw a new style monster riding in, all black, carbon tank, led front light, lots of mods, rider black clothes and dark visor looked and sounded awesome, said hi at the lights, anyone here? I'm sure I've seen the bike before I was on the Hypermotard with my son pillion

Ah, the all black 'stealth' approach. Looks excellent, spread out in little pieces all over the road :)

I didn't like the little fly screen effort on the Triumph very much, it made it look a bit like the 2008 (?) facelifted Fireblade that everyone hated. Other than that, good times!

I took a bit of a liking to the Bonneville T120 Black. Maybe in a few years when I'm even older (and they aren't £10K...!). I also really liked the Scrambler Cafe Racer.

Caught up with a few friends, none of the bikes really excited me, bought some ear plugs. Was a good day :)

I know what you're saying but it really shouldn't be all the motorcyclist's responsibility to be seen!!!!

I feckin' hate the way motorcyclists are being bludgeoned into wearing dayglo this and that just because other road users are too lazy/distracted/couldn't care less to look properly!!!

Rant over.... as for the show... same old same old really- getting a bit bored of them to be honest!!

The day glo stuff is not as good as they say. I did a biker down course organised by the Kent crew and it was proven that a solid same colour object was just as visible as a high vis day glo as people wearing glo have multi colours and actually blend i easier with the traffic

It what was said not what I might agree with.

I know what your saying and I hate dayglo stuff and would never wear it. I work nights and ride bikes but still I get loads of 'where the F did they come from' moments from not just bikes but cyclists and even runners who are mainly in black. It's like they teleported in star trek style sometimes. :banghead:
