Having just picked up my S4R & ridden it back from Cambridge in the wet, I was amazed at how much crap gets onto the back of the engine & rear shock. does anyone make a rear hugger for this model, or know of one that can be adapted to fit?
that aside the bike runs great & i'm looking forward to some dry roads to try it out on

Dave the one from Germany looks like a genuine DP part and as so it's a bargain so snap it up.

Congratulations on your new machine, Dave.

I had one of the QB Carbon lower swingarm protectors on my S2R coupled with the DP top hugger. The QB part was fantastic quality; as I remember, it was three or four times the thickness of the DP hugger and did a great job of shielding the shock from road grime.

Be aware that, if you have an aftermarket exhaust, (I had an Arrow), you may need to fashion a small cut-away on the right-hand side of the top hugger in order to clear the exhaust pipe.

I've got a QB carbon hugger on mine.
Threadlock the fasteners and check regularly.
My lower part came loose and the chain wore a bit out of it!
