Anyone fitted one? How difficult is it? Any recommendations as to which to go for?

Have a look at the the Evotech tidy, I had one fitted to my 821. It's a well made bit of kit, powder coated ally http://www.evotech-performance.com/monster-1200?cat=8144

I should have added that I also had the frame crash protection, radiator/engine guard fitted but I see for the 1200 they do one to include the oil cooler. I've heared a couple of stories of stones puncturing radiators, so could be worth the money in the long run.

1200R all Evoteched out here, couldn't be happier, the tail tidy is very good.

Evotech looks like the preferred option. The 821 and 1200R I would suspect would be easier to fit than the 1200 though, given the 1200s need to reroute the numberplate like light cabling. Is this easy to do?

Take a look

Looks like a case of re routing it under the seat.

I have done the 821 and the 1200R tail tidys, the hardest bit for me was the cheese like threads Ducati use on their bolts. If you can follow instructions and know what a spanner/allen key looks like should be fine, you can always ring Evotech, I did, they are very helpful. I found an issue with the 821 tailtidy, they got an 821 out of the local dealer and saw the issue and revised the kit, I was the first to report it :chuckle: everyone else just got on and modified it themselves, which I did with a file too
