Hello all
As previously posted my son and myself are building up a 900/962 Engine from parts and we’re gradually getting all the little bits and pieces together to complete it.
We’re hoping to pick up a 900SS with a dodgy engine to drop this one into as part of a rebuild, and ideally would have swapped a load of parts over, but I’d like to carry on with the build of this engine before we find a complete bike.
The engine has a Monster 900 bottom end from @1995.
962 Cylinders and Mahle Pistons.
900SS V1/2 cylinder heads from @1995.
Obviously I’m putting all new bearings and Seals in it, but some parts I don’t mind picking up used.
The hopefully last pile of bits and pieces I’m looking for is:
Both External Oil lines from heads to Alternator side cover.
4 Banjo bolts for the above.
Cam Cover – Horizontal, including the Oil Cooler mount.
Small (timing) cover over end of the Crankshaft on Alternator side engine cover.
Spacer for clutch basket – P/No. 71320011A
Outer Clutch cover, just for protection in storage for a while.
Complete Gland assembly for where the pick-up wiring cable passes through the crankcase.
-Washer
-Ring nut
-Seal
-Outer Ring nut
Plus if anyone has any unused seals, gaskets, fasteners, service items etc hanging around that might fit then let me know.
Included in this is any Woodruff keys, locating Dowels and tubes.
