I have somehow managed to forget to post this up until now.!

The 3rd Reepham Classic is happening on Sunday 25th September.

This is a great event staged in Reepham Market place, which is closed to traffic for the day.

Last year was Italian themed and there was a Sea of Red, including a long line of Ferraris which shattered the peace of the evening when they all started and warmed up to go home...

Again this year, the Distinguished Gentlemen's ride will be passing by...Quite an exhibition on it's own..
We need to go and support our very own emzedder this year, who is attempting the run on a Norman Nippy...

This year is British themed, but we have still been invited to display our Monsters and other interesting machines.

Arrivals should be before 11am if possible.... Hope to see you there.

As Duxford is a no go for me due to family commitments, I'm up for Reepham instead.

Would you like to meet before and ride in or at the pitch in Reepham?

It'll be good to see you again at Reepham Grumps.

I was hoping for a lie-in on Sunday morning, after the Duxford run, but hey!

I could meet you at Watton if you like (Or if anyone else likes too).
The ride in from there is classic Norfolk through and through....You'll like it.

The most likely route for Sunday would be via Swaffham . Any suggestions as to where we could meet?

I don't really know Swaffham, so I don't know what to suggest.
The roads in from Swaffham are a little bit pants, whereas if I could persuade you to meet at Watton it would be different story.

I could meet you at the Gayton/Litcham crossroads on the Swaffham/Fakenham road I suppose. The road is not too bad from there.

I've worked out a route cross country to Watton:thumbsup:
Takes about the same amount of time as going to Swaffham, so shall we say 11ish?
Where in Watton would you like to meet?

Lings of Watton, (IP25 6AH) Triumph dealer, would seem to be about the best landmark.
I'm not sure if it opens on a Sunday, but there always seem to be bikes outside, maybe folks like us just using it as a meeting place?

Assuming that you would be coming into Watton on the b1108 (Brandon Rd), just keep going and Lings is about two hundred yards after the mini roundabout.

The Reepham show opens to the public at 11am. I was planning on getting there by about 10am before we decided to meet out. If you could make it any earlier it would be cool, otherwise we will just have to be politely late.. :mand:

Mike and I are going to meet at 8.30am then head up to Watton, so we should be with you at about 10.30. We can the ride into Reepham as a group.

Okey doke..

I'll be there for 10.30.

I timed it this morning on my way through to Duxford. Reepham to Watton is 34 minutes, so it should all work out just dandy.

Hope you get a dry ride.

Another superb day of riding and socialising.

Great to meet Grumpy and IMOC as always, and good to meet up with emzedder when he arrived with the DGR on his M21.

This is still managing to be a splendid little show, such a nice atmosphere and setting.
Once again the exhibits were stunning and completely different from the previous years too...Always new things to see....And still a smattering of Ferraris and E-Types...

IMOC took us to see his new friend in a nearby village... What a nice chap. He let us look at his Desmosedici limited edition. Gosh what a posh bike! he even started it for us to listen to... I think my ears have stopped bleeding now..
Oh and I didn't mention his Aprillia RSV, MV F4 and Yamaha R1. Smashing bloke, nice collection and nice biscuits too..

I may have sold the Desmosedici a bit short in the last post.
I looked on the internet and I think this is the actual bike we saw.

Looks like the same stand and everything.
It's a Desmosedici RR full 46 replica with rear facing camera instead of mirrors and a real Gold heatshield in the seat for the exhaust... Awesome.

Fun day out as always at the Reepham Show.
Thanks for leading us to Reepham via some great Norfolk roads, Gazza, and as always good to see imoc.
The Jaguar XJ120 convertible was the car of the day for me, beautiful example of a classic British sports car.
As for the Desmosedici, LOUD or what! My ears are at the moment soaking in oil to stop them ringing!

Agreed gents, the Reepham event was excellent. Defo one for next years calendar. The only thing missing was a Model-T and a DeLorean

The Desmosedici in the photos isn't the bike we saw Gazza, but its in exactly the same colours/livery.

I thought mine & Grumpy's bikes were loud - but they are like FS1E's by comparison WOW!! :dizzy:
