Had an S4 for many years, loved it. Only sold it to upgrade to an S4RS, which I sold 2 years ago when I got more into trackdays, replaced it with an 1198S.
More recently I found wanted to get back into road riding after a 2 year break since I sold the S4RS, so bought an Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC as an all rounder thinking it could do road and track. As quick as it is it's not a patch on the 1198S on track, and on the road it's a bit pointless as it's so powerful you can barely keep hold of it. It also seem to be lacking that special "something" in the looks and build quality which I love about Ducati's.
So, the 1198S is going for sale very soon....the Tuono is getting turned into an RSV track bike, so that leaves hole for the road bike.....
Of course I couldn't help but look for an other S4RS, but the prices are silly compared to what I sold my old one for. In the end I managed to find a cheap S4R 998 to have a play with, should be picking it up next weekend :-)
