Hello All,

As is always the case, removal of the forks to change the seals has ended up with the bike being torn down for a good tidy up.

The engine is in a right mess. Paint has flaked off all over the place, exhaust bolts on horizontal cylinder are just a mangled ball of rust.

I'm trying to expose enough of the motor to give me room to paint it just to clean it up a bit.

My question is, with the swingarm on a rear stand, and with the engine secured on stands, would it be possible just to unbolt the throttle bodies from the cylinders, and remove the rear shock mounting from the frame and just lift the frame up off the engine?

Or is it going to have to be a complete tear down and remove the whole lot from the bike?

Actually, looking at it, do the throttle bodies even need to come off?
I've got the seat, tank, airbox all off. Forks are off anyway.
