Why can't I get the front wheel off?

The axle will move, but the wheel moves with it....

Have you undone both sets of allen bolts under the forks?

If so, tighten the one that has the 'end' of the axle (not the big allen key hole) back up as that holds the threaded insert bit.

You should now be able to unscrew the axle.

I think that's the problem. I think I'll put it back down on the floor as its moving around to much on the stand.
