Need to replace front and rear tyres on a Monster 1200s Stripe. Does anyone know the following information?

Size and type of rear axle nut. ie is it a splined nut or do I have to buy a Ducati specific tool. If so where can I buy one?
Tightening torque value for rear axle nut.
Tightening torque value for front axle nut.
Tightening torque value for front brake calliper mounting bolts.

Any other top tips, info etc that I need to consider?

Thanks

You'll need a big breaker bar... Only just got my 1200S, but my previous bike (Multistrada 1200S) had a torque setting of something crazy like 250ftlb on the rear wheel nut... Needless to say I always paid extra for fitting!

There is a dedicated socket available on the bay which fits both front and rear nuts. I purchased one capable of being used in a rattle gun as the rear but is torqued up to 230 nm!
You will also need a torque wrench capable of reaching 230nm.
I would suggest greasing the threads before refitting the rear wheel but, as this aids removal in the future.

Have read of this, it's very informative.

Thanks for the info.
Got all the necessary tools etc now and manged to slacken the nut but have not removed the wheel yet.
I'll write up a report when I'm finished.
Thanks again.
