Weekender air ambulance collection - thanks for your generosity

Hi folks,

I've now heard back from the Wales Air Ambulance.

Thanks to the generosity of all the UKMOC members (and a few Metropole hotel staff) we raised £210.79 in the collection bucket.:)

Definitely a very good cause- 18 months or so ago we had one land on the grass at my work when a chap at a neighbouring factory suffered what at the time was a horrendous crush injury after a fork lift accident- it turned out he only had a broken foot so went to Hospital by road Ambulance.

The chaps in the chopper stayed for a coffee and chat before whizzing off.
