Hi guys, thanks for the add.

Currently sat at work on this fine day, so thought I'd best say Hi.
Pretty new to the forums, but after searching for a few answers, this forum seemed to provide most of them...so I've joined :)
Currently kicking around Lincoln area on my 1100. Hopefully a picture of the bike has loaded. Owned her just over a year now and absolutely love her. I enjoy cleaning her just as much as riding because I get to sit back and admire the view after a good session. She's mostly standard, just some bar end mirrors and carbon termis with dp ecu and filter. (I run baffles out)...safer :)
Anyways if anyone's around and fancies hooking up, it would be great to chat with people have equally good taste :)

Pic nearly worked, you need to use a ’direct link', the file name will end in a .jpg

Wheelie bin shot!:) Is that the anniversary model with the red frame?

Doh! Can't believe I didn't even spot it. At least it's the nice green bin, not the smelly black bin.
To answer your question though, no, it's just the standard 1100 😊

Hello and welcome.

Come and see us at the East Kirkby Buell and Italian day...We usually have a contingent there.

Sorry I'm not sure what date that's on this year..:dunce:

Welcome aboard.

A liking for photo's of wheelie bins is one of the more unusual aspects of this forum. You'll get used to us.

Wheelie bin shot!:) Is that the anniversary model with the red frame?

The anniversary model had a bronze coloured frame, but even Ducati couldn't match the original.

No, of course it was a bronze frame for the anniversary year, doh. Still nice bike. Actually the number pf wheelie bins are an encouraged theme here with bike pics but I think we may have to find a new alternative now that someone posted a picture of his bike at a refuse depot with like 100's of bins in.

Haha brilliant. I can only imagine the photos that have been produced 😄. Am to right in saying the Anniversary model was a rendition of the 1100 Evo?

We already have an alternative with a couple of great entry's already :)

Yea, it was just a special colour scheme for 2013 with bronze frame and gold brakes etc. To mimic the original '93 M900. I don't think it was a limited edition or anything, just a standard EVO.

I may have missed that one. Not tail chops with crazy angled number plates?

I've not seen any info as of yet, but the Lancaster and tanks day (which the Buell and Italian day is usually on) is the 29/30th of may.
Other wise there is a bike evening, including the Lancaster being run, on wed the 13th of June. I could be persuaded to go!

No, far more skillful. It's about sneaking in a secret bin shot now.

Tanks? Does that mean you can bring a Moto Guzzi? if you happened to own one and were inclined to actually ride it? :)

Hi, I'm kicking around south end, Hykeham. Yourself? i've never seen another Monster around Lincoln apart from when I'm in the dealer getting some parts...then they all ride past and disappear.

Nice looking bike M1100_Red - you could eat your dinner off those exhausts!

@Grumpy - I'd be very tempted to join you on a trip to see the 'Lanc' on the bike evening event

@ronnocoekim, Thanks bud. The exhaust was my project for over winter. Not something i recommend doing unless you fancy renewing the skin on your hands :)

@smiffyraf1, yeah i think a compulsory cuppa at the woods would be in order sometime.

@Grumpy, An evening at Kirkby sounds good. Ill have to check calender to see if im off :)

Hello and welcome. Lincolnshire is my riding area of choice, Usually around the Wolds and seeing family in Louth area. I would say that what Slob is riding over is probably the highest point in the county!
Sounds like there are a few locally to meet up, DOC also have thier monthly meet in a pub at Nettleham.

Nor can anybody else to be fair!

The Anniversary model also had the 'Cagiva' font- I wonder how much Ducati had to pay to use it?
They lost the ownership of it when Cagiva sold Ducati and TPG took over.

Bike looks sweet by the way!!

@Slob nice pic! Looks like you had a good time and good weather. I intend to parade mine around at some point this year. Already bought my onesie :)

@MrGazza, cheers for the update, I'll pencil that date in the diary...weather permitting of course :)

@Jonno, I think you're right, I regularly get nose bleeds when I stray outside the county, something to do with elevation changes :p. The Wolds is a nice place to ride, I've caught many of fly brains out that way :)

@Flip, I always wondered what that font was called and where it came from. Cheers for the like by the way :)

I'm regularly seen riding my Griso, I even went to the weekender on it this year....again!

Oh it's probably got a proper name (Albie will know I'm sure) but it was from when Cagiva were the parent company.

No actually don t lol. Been looking though. Graham @ image works will though as he makes them exact. Agree with the paint too. Now I'm not sure sure about my frame tbh. Thinking of a paint coat over powder but has now a good undercoat at least.
