Help please,

I am looking to modify my newly purchased (not yet driven/ridden) M696

Two cosmetic changes, one mechanical one and one other

One a tail tidy.......seems to be £100 or so any other options.

Two the bike does not have that wee silly Ducati fly screen BUT I would like a nice looking bigger screen sadly I cant see me getting that any time soon as I have to ride it from London to Scotland Next week......BUT JUST MAYBE I could have that delivered to my friends in London (OR buy one in London) by next week and get a nicer ride home...so any good suggestions please

Three A slipper clutch I don't think the 696 has one but the 796 does is this an easy mod and will I loose a lot of engine braking OR will it just keep me from locking the rear wheel on down-shifts...AND is this a good worthwhile mod?

Four best heated grips and what about a heated suit liner?

thanks in anticipation for all ideas and thoughts

kindest regards

David

Tail tidy - Easy to make yourself for far less than £100 and exactly how you want it

696 has an APTC (semi slipper) clutch
it's just fine for road use

Re screen - you'll be wanting one of these......

Right hand bike in the pic is the touring screen, that's what I've got, makes a BIG difference.

I agree really I don't like the digital dash and the funny headlight BUT I am sure they will grow on me.

And yes it does have this servo assisted slipper style of clutch MY BAD when I was test riding one the other week for sure I did not notice this not that I was doing crazy no clutch down shifts but the deceleration on closing the throttle was impressive.
