couple of these were in box of bits that came with the bike,any ideas

Low level exhaust heel guards. Not used if high level termis fitted.

thanks for that,up into the attic with them then
next question,just been out for a run on the new purchase,after about 40 miles,while engine is at tickover at a junction,worryingly oil light came on,went off as soon as revs rose above tickover level,should I be worried

Could be a d!cky oil pressure switch....Easy to change.

Or could be low oil level...Easy to check

Could also possibly be oil so old that it's turned to water...Not likely.

First suggestion is most likely, but could be that the engine is about to sieze solid....Worry level is optional..:rolleyes:

Yes that's the switch had it on my s4. Is there any weeping film around the switch. Not expensive really but a vauxhall a aguila one is supposed to be the same and about £20 cheaper.

Thanks again,oil level and quantity is fine,was done before I bought her,bike under warranty so will fire her back to dealer,just a thought,owners manual implies this may be normal ?
