Looking for a set of aftermarket lever for my M600. I bought a pair off ebay last year but the front one doesn't turn on the brake light until it nearly at the handlebar.

Does anyone know what aftermarket levers would be best to buy that'd fix this? Was think ASV but they are pricey!

There's usually a small black plastic pellet that sits between the lever and the microswitch, its only held in place by the lever and drops out when you remove the lever. Ii did on mine. Is it still there? It sounds more like a problem with the switch than the lever itself.

The pellet is there. I've already tried another brake switch on it and it's still the same.

It must be the lever then. Weird. Does it work ok with the original lever? I bought some cheap ones off ebay, M/C Parts I think but I never fitted them so they might be the same ones.

I ended up getting some Factory Racing (Motopike) folding ones in one of there cheap ebay auctions. I just looked and they don't have any at the moment.

I had to move my brake switch a little for it to work correctly when I swapped my levers. Have you tried moving it?

Don't think my switch will move. The levers I bought look identical so I thought maybe the proper one which have a brake lever and clutch lever might work of they are slightly different.

Edit: order some Bad Dog levers from Sportsbikeshop so will see how they are. If it's the same I'll just return them.

There is a certain amount of adjustment you can get out of the brake switch by loosening the two small screws. I had to adjust mine when I replaced it on the last Monster M600.

If you're adjusting those 2 small bolts for the microswitch just be careful not to over-tighten them as its easy to distort or break the plastic switch case. Not done it myself but I was warned about it. So just passing it on. A little nip up and some loctite should sort it.

How did you get on with the Levers , they vary wildly in price

I am looking at the Billet M/C off ebay for reasonable outlay
